A NAECI solution that works for everyone on-site

Over the years we’ve seen how hundreds of project sites operate on a day-to-day basis. Seeing first-hand the frustrations clients have when project workers are displaced across multiple subcontractors – resulting in mixed messages, unclear processes and disgruntled workers.

That’s why we have developed our major project service, developed to embrace the complexities of Working Rule Agreement sites. Our service enables project subcontractors to focus on delivering their project deliverables without getting distracted by handling complex NAECI payroll calculations or complex industrial relation issues that often arise on NAECI projects. We are also able to offer an equal and open opportunity for the local workforce to gain employment on the project through our Project Talent Pool.

What our NAECI solution delivers

  • One point of contact for all project stakeholders

Main contractor, subcontractors and workers receive a consistent message to allow unified processes

  • Consistent experience for all workers

Compliant payroll calculations, clear project communication, face-to-face support, wellbeing benefits

  • Central workforce management

Including cost modelling, pre-tender support and targeted local recruitment campaigns

  • Continuous improvement and best practice

With a proactive team to identify and implement project efficiencies and improvements and a track record of innovation

Breaking the language barrier on-site

Here at NRL we’re passionate about engaging as many local people as possible, so the workers and their families can financially benefit from the project happening in their region. Where overseas subcontracting companies are appointed onto the project due to their industry knowledge and expertise, this can often cause language barriers and miscommunication.

That’s why we draw on the expertise of NRL’s Language Solutions business, to allow everyone to understand what is happening. Through their translation and interpreting services we’re able to provide practical help such as site safety guidance in multiple languages, as well as booking interpreters to attend meetings either remotely or face-to-face.
