Supporting workers each and every day

We know how important a content workforce is to deliver a successful project. That’s why we build a comprehensive care package to ensure they’re supporting both inside and outside of work. Whether that’s providing clear communication so that everyone knows what is happening on-site, or being on hand to manage pay queries.

A dedicated team on-site

We’ll provide a dedicated team to support the project, selected from our group of experienced NAECI professionals. Day-to-day you’ll find them in their site office, organising site inductions, handling pay queries and supporting workers.

They’ll also hold regular site clinics each week for workers to drop in and ask any questions they may have, as well as host regular catch-ups with subcontractors, industrial relations and suppliers to proactively support the entire project team.

What our workers say

A beacon of help, when people need it most

It’s important to us that we’re able to support our workers with their personal welfare – knowing all too well how difficult times are and how hard it is to ask for help. That’s why NRL are company supporters of the Lighthouse Club, the construction industry charity that provides free emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support.

This support is available to all workers and their families. Emotional wellness services include support with stress, anxiety, depression, anger, sleep and suicidal thoughts. Whilst physical wellbeing covers occupational health, aches and pains, nutrition, weight management, cancer support, alcohol and drug addiction. To help with financial troubles, the charity can also assist with emergency financial aid, state benefit entitlement, budgeting, debt management, tax and legal advice, CIC, and retirement planning.

Services can be accessed confidentially through their 24/7 telephone helpline, text messaging service and mobile app. As well as a network of 160 locations across the UK and Ireland, for a face-to-face chat with a trained volunteer. NRL’s own team are also able to provide mental health first aid for immediate support.
